Moonen 82 Alu Fast motoryacht Recently the new Moonen 82 "My Way" handed over to her owners. Moonen Shipyards has completed the Moonen 82 Alu fast displacement superyacht My Way for their Russian clients who have been very involved in the entire process. Delivered exactly as planned, the yacht easily surpassed her specified speed of 25 knots in sea trials. "My Way also performed superbly in terms of stability and her low noise levels," reports the owner, who travelled over from Russia especially for the trials. Moonen 84, Etoile d`Azur crosses the Atlantic Moonen Shipyards, Etoile d`Azur, the seventh in the remarkable Moonen 84 series has become the first in the series to complete a Transatlantic crossing. Sailing form Gibraltar to Sint Maarten via the Azores, she traveled 3350 Nautical Miles. She encountered heavy weather on the first leg to Azores, including 12 hours with occasional seas breaking over her. She performed very well and reaches an low level of fuel consumption. "she behaves beautifully in higher seas and is a pleasure to operate" says her captain.
