Electric ferry for Rostock´s eco-friendly mobility

In collaboration with Ostseestaal’s sister company Ampereship, Marimecs has developed a 21 meter passenger full electric ferry Warnowstromer.

The two rudder propellers on the catamaran will be powered fully electrically by a meticulously thought-through power system. By taking the specs such as navigation profile, dimensions and class regulations into account, Marimecs provided naval architecture, construction plans and overall design, resulting in a highly customised electric ferry design that contributes to the city of Rostock´s eco-friendly mobility goals.
