Beam Trawler Luyt

The final stages of the fabrication of the beam trawler ‘Georgina of Ladram’ are nearing completion, her hull and superstructure build at the Ibis yard in Holland, where Luyt BV will complete the new beamer BM-100.

The design of the new Georgina of Ladram BM-100 has been in development in close co-operation with Waterdance and it will have a 35.25 metre overall length, with an 8.70 metre breadth and a depth of 5.20 metres. We have in close collaboration with Luyt further developed the design from the initial concept towards a complete design including buidling kit and related production drawings.

Georgina of Ladram will operate as a beam trawler, fishing for sole, plaice and cuttlefish in South-Western UK waters.
