Catmar Explorer 72 completes sea trials

Balance between performance, efficiency and versatility
Marimecs was responsible for the naval architecture and engineering, ensuring a design that balances performance, efficiency and versatility. The yacht was built by Dijkstra Jachtbouw in Harlingen, where it has recently completed its outfitting and first sailing tests.
All Catmar Explorer yachts from Catamaris are blue water catamarans. Each yacht is engineered to meet the highest standards, enabling them to navigate waters with the most stringent environmental regulations and earning them the distinction of true explorer yachts. They also contribute significantly to reducing emissions during operation.
The commitment to environmental sustainability is reflected in every detail of the design. Engines, gensets and equipment meet strict EU standards for CO₂ emissions, while optional hybrid diesel electric propulsion systems allow for even further reductions.
